【摘要】:ThispartofISO7211specifiesthreemethodsforthedeter-minationofthenumberofthreadspercentimetreinwovenfabrics.Anyofthethreemethodsmaybeused,thechoicedependingonthecharacterofthefabric.However,incaseofdisputemethodAisrecommended.MethodA:Dissectionoffabric,suitableforallfabrics.Thisisthemostlaboriousmethodbuthasfewerlimitationsthantheothers;inparticular,itistheonlyonethatisreallysuitablefortheexaminationofcertainfoldedstructuresandothercomplicatedweaves.MethodB:Countingglass,suitableforwovenfabricswithmorethan50threadspercentimetre.MethodC:Traversingthreadcounter,suitableforallfabrics.Wherethenumberofthreadspercentimetreislow,itmaybeconvenienttoexpresstheresultsasthenumberofthreadsperdecimetre.NOTE—Methodsusingparallellinegratingsandtaperedlinegratingshavebeengivenintheannexforinformation.Thesemethodshavenotbeenconsideredaccurateenoughtobeusedasstandardtestmethodsbutcanbeusedtogiveroughandreadyestimatesforroutinetesting.
