【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversmachinemadesoliduncoredcarbonbrickproducedfromeithermetallurgicalorpetroleumcalcinedcoke,bakedtoaminimum1850x00B0;F(1010x00B0;C),andsuitableforuseinmasonryconstructionwhichwillbeexposedtovariouschemicals.Theseunitsaredesignedprimarilyforindustriesusinghydrofluoricacid,fluoridesalts,andhighconcentrationsofalkaliessuchassodiumandpotassiumhydroxide.Carbonbrickarenormallyusedwithcarbonfilledchemical-resistantmortars.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
